Mouwasat Medical Services to Face Commercial Lawsuit Over Jeddah Doctors Co. Transaction

The hospital chain operator said that Doctors Co. for Medical Projects is seeking 335.4 million Saudi riyals from the company after it exited its stake in Jeddah Doctors Co. via the transfer of 5,631,354 shares. The company said the lawsuit, which was filed with the Commercial Court in Dammam, Saudi Arabia, is anticipated not to have any impact on the operations of Jeddah Doctors Co. and its proposed launch in the fourth quarter.
