Fox Corporation (FOX) is a U.S.-based media and entertainment company headquartered in New York City. The company operates across news, sports and entertainment, with businesses including the Fox News Media, Fox Sports and Fox Entertainment segments. Fox also owns the FOX broadcast network and various cable and streaming properties. Fox Corporation has a market cap of around $24.1 billion.

FOX is expected to release its Q1 2027 earnings on Monday, Nov. 2, before the market opens. Ahead of the event, analysts expect the company’s EPS to be $2.04 on a diluted basis, up 35.1% from $1.51 in the year-ago quarter. The company has exceeded Wall Street’s EPS estimates in each of its last four quarters, which is impressive.

For fiscal 2027, analysts project the company’s EPS to be $5.99, up 10.5% from $5.42 in fiscal 2026. However, its EPS is expected to fall by roughly 3.3% year-over-year (YOY) to $5.79 in fiscal 2028.

FOX’s stock has grown 11.6% over the past 52 weeks, underperforming the S&P 500 Index’s ($SPX) 15.5% rise but outpacing the State Street Communication Services Select Sector SPDR ETF’s (XLC) 3.4% fall during the same time frame.

Fox Corporation has delivered a positive return over the past year, supported by strong advertising trends, the company’s sports portfolio and growing momentum at Tubi and FOX One, but the stock has faced some weakness in 2026. Shares are down roughly 12% year-to-date (YTD), reflecting some profit-taking and concerns about the sustainability of event-driven advertising growth and higher sports-content costs.

Fox’s fiscal fourth-quarter results, reported on Aug. 6, 2026, were nevertheless strong, with revenue jumping 28% YOY to $4.2 billion, while adjusted EPS rose to $1.79 from $1.27, helped by a 78% surge in advertising revenue tied largely to the FIFA Men’s World Cup. FOX shares rose 6.1% on Aug. 6 and another 3% on Aug. 7.

Analysts are cautiously bullish on FOX, with the stock having a “Moderate Buy” rating overall. Among the 14 analysts covering the stock, nine are recommending a “Strong Buy,” and five suggest a “Hold.” FOX’s average analyst price target is $73.33, indicating an upside of 28.2% from the current levels.
