Safran/GE JV CFM International to Supply 300 Engines to Turkish Airlines

05:29 AM EDT, 10/16/2026 (MT Newswires) -- CFM International signed a memorandum of understanding with Turkish Airlines to supply more than 300 LEAP-1B engines for Boeing 737 MAX aircraft, according to a Friday release. Under the deal, the joint venture between French aerospace and defense group Safran (SAF.PA) and US-based GGE Aerospace will also deliver spares and provide long-term services for the airline's entire fleet of over 600 LEAP-1B engines.
