The China Securities Association has drafted and formed “Opinions on Further Deepening the Cultural Construction of the Securities Industry” and is currently seeking proposals from brokerage firms. The new regulations require the establishment of professional think tanks and forward-looking research results transformation mechanisms, setting up special research topics, increasing R&D investment in cutting-edge fields such as green finance, ESG management, and cross-border integrated services to promote research results to efficiently empower business and product innovation; and establish a hierarchical professional competency cultivation system to build a precise training system adapted to the new situation and new regulatory requirements around core competencies such as investment banking pricing, in-depth research, and asset allocation, to form professional talent training and ability evaluation standards that keep pace with the times, and promote the sedimentation of professional cultural concepts into reusable capacity assets at the industry level.
