Caspian Sunrise Completes Purchase of Kazakh Minerals Explorer Tau-Cen

01:12 AM EDT, 10/16/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Caspian Sunrise (CASP.L) completed the acquisition of Kazakh minerals explorer Tau-Cen after securing regulatory approvals, the oil and gas explorer said Thursday. The purchase price is $700,000, comprising $350,000 already paid in cash and 5,223,881 Caspian Sunrise shares issued to Amirbek Oraziman, a member of the Oraziman Family Concert Party, raising its holding to 50.63% from 50.52%. Tau-Cen's licenses, which cover titanium, zirconium, and gold, cover 235.8 square kilometers, with exploration licenses running to 2031. Topographic and magnetic surveys are underway for the expected drilling of 12,000 linear meters.
