Trader Notes:
Crypto analyst Lennaert Snyder noted that Bitcoin swept liquidity below $80,000 after the New York open before staging a strong recovery, confirming his earlier bullish setup.
He identified $83,000 as immediate resistance, with a breakout potentially pushing Bitcoin toward $85,000, where significant buy-side liquidity and liquidations remain.
While $83,000 could offer a shorting opportunity if prices face strong rejection, Snyder prefers $85,000 for new short positions following the liquidity sweep below $80,000.
Digital asset platform, Bitfinez noted that Bitcoin whales accumulated roughly 60,000 BTC since late August, primarily between $80,000 and $86,000.
He suggested that the low-$80,000 range could emerge as strong support if whales continue holding their accumulated Bitcoin through the current market pullback.
