According to Goldman Sachs's research report, BYD is scheduled to announce the third quarter results on October 29. The bank predicts that revenue will reach 242,936 billion yuan, up 25% year on year; net profit of 11.5 billion yuan, up 47% year on year and 39% month on month, mainly due to increased sales and the introduction of more flash charging models to drive up average sales prices. At the same time, its domestic NEV retail market share will increase from 22% in the second quarter to 25% in the third quarter. The bank expects investors to focus on domestic demand prospects, the EU's impact on China's hybrid vehicle export cap, and the gradual elimination of VAT rebates on electric vehicle exports. Goldman Sachs maintained BYD's “buy” rating and continued to be on the purchase list. The target price for H shares remained at HK$134.
