Adid's AG Group Enters Partnership to Boost UAE Agricultural Supply Chains

01:15 AM EDT, 10/12/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Abu Dhabi National Investment and Development (ADX:ADID), or Adid's, subsidiary AG Group signed a cooperation agreement with Abu Dhabi Agricultural Club to expand agricultural supply chains of locally grown produce in the United Arab Emirates. Under the agreement, AG Group aims to explore structured procurement and marketing activities with Emirati farmers, targeting daily production of 60 tonnes to 100 tonnes of fresh vegetables across a targeted cultivation area of 249 hectares, according to a Sunday release. The partnership will also explore connecting local farmers with wholesale and retail markets, supermarkets, restaurants, and hospitality operators, as well as improving produce packaging, storage, and transportation. Adid unit Qitaf Holding owns a 50% stake in AG Group.
