The National Development and Reform Commission publicly solicited opinions from the public on the “Administrative Measures on Standardized Auto Parts Remantry”. Among them, it is proposed that remanufacturing companies buy end-of-life automobile engines, steering wheels, transmissions, front and rear axles, and frames from recycling and dismantling companies, and that the types of parts remanufactured by the company should be consistent with the types of parts remanufactured by the company. Exhaust gas aftertreatment devices must not be recycled for remanufacturing, and recycling key components for emission control shall meet the requirements of national emission control standards. A remanufacturing enterprise shall use the “five major assemblies” of purchased waste vehicles for remanufacturing or sell it to a remanufacturing enterprise certified by the remanufacturing quality management system for recycling in accordance with relevant national regulations; if there are no conditions for remanufacturing, it shall be sold as waste to a smelting or crushing enterprise. Support recycling and dismantling companies to sell the “five major assemblies” of end-of-life vehicles to remanufacturing companies that have passed the remanufacturing quality management system certification.
