In terms of innovative design admission management, the notice clarifies that from January 1, 2027, new declared products involving innovative designs should be filled in additional technical parameters for innovative designs, and safety and environmental assessments should be strengthened in accordance with the “Technical Guidelines for Innovative Design of Automotive Products”; those that have not been tested and verified as required, have insufficient testing and verification, or provided false materials will not be announced. Products that have been announced should be additionally submitted with relevant technical parameters and verification materials before July 1, 2027. If there are safety hazards after the due date, production should be stopped and recalled. The notice also clearly states that fully hidden doorknobs are prohibited, that folding screens or flexible displays must not be used, and that relevant innovative designs must be thoroughly tested and verified to ensure safety and reliability. In terms of R&D testing and verification, the notice requires that the newly declared products should complete tests and verifications on comprehensive reliability and durability, structural reliability, software functional reliability, environmental adaptability, heating and cooling, protective performance and sealing in accordance with the “Technical Specification for Automotive Product Development, Testing and Verification”. Among them, the environmental adaptability verification cycle is not less than 1 year, and the reliability verification test is not less than 30,000 kilometers.
