PepsiCo: Q3 Earnings Snapshot

PURCHASE, N.Y. (AP) — PURCHASE, N.Y. (AP) — PepsiCo Inc. (PEP) on Thursday reported third-quarter net income of $3.05 billion.

The Purchase, New York-based company said it had net income of $2.23 per share. Earnings, adjusted for one-time gains and costs, came to $2.34 per share.

The results topped Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of seven analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for earnings of $2.29 per share.

The food and beverage company posted revenue of $25.27 billion in the period, also topping Street forecasts. Six analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $24.88 billion.
