Informa to Raise GBP940 Million to Partially Fund Clarion Deal

02:28 AM EDT, 10/06/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Informa (INF.L) plans to raise 940 million pounds sterling through a share placement and retail offering to partially fund its planned acquisition of B2B live events business Clarion for an enterprise value of 2.24 billion pounds. The equity raise will include a non-pre-emptive placing of shares for eligible institutional investors and a retail offering, the London-listed publishing, business intelligence, and exhibitions group said Tuesday. Morgan Stanley & Co. International, Merrill Lynch International and Deutsche Bank are acting as joint bookrunners for the placement.
