Team plc to Buy British Wealth Manager Hedley & Company Stockbrokers

03:15 AM EDT, 10/05/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Team plc (TEAM.L) agreed to acquire Lancashire, UK-based wealth management and stockbroking firm Hedley & Company Stockbrokers for 3 million pounds sterling. The London-listed wealth and asset manager said Monday it will settle the acquisition through a combination of cash and new shares, with the long-stop date for the purchase scheduled for March 31, 2027. The company said the purchase is part of its strategy of boosting its presence in the UK. Completion is subject to the approval of the country's Financial Conduct Authority, among other conditions.
