Beazley Delists from London Bourse after Zurich Insurance Takeover

05:17 AM EDT, 10/02/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Beazley (BEZ.L) delisted from the London stock exchange's main market on Friday following its acquisition by Swiss insurer Zurich Insurance Group (ZURN.SW). The British specialty insurer applied for the cancellation on Thursday as the scheme of arrangement for the deal took effect, according to a Friday release. Separately, Zurich said the newly completed deal created what it describes as the world's biggest specialty insurance business, based in London. It expects the integration to result in incremental revenue growth of $1 billion per year by 2029.
