DFS Furniture Names Chair Designate

03:51 AM EDT, 10/02/2026 (MT Newswires) -- British retailer DFS Furniture (DFS.L) appointed Elizabeth McMeikan as chair designate, according to a Friday release. McMeikan, a former executive at Tesco (TSCO.L) and Colgate-Palmolive, will join the board immediately and succeed Steve Johnson as chair in 2027.
