Through statistical analysis of 62,700 highway charging facilities included in the national charging facility monitoring service platform, the national highway charging capacity reached 28.046,900 kilowatt-hours on the first day of the “Eleventh” National Day holiday, an increase of 60.40% over the first day of the “Eleventh” National Day holiday last year, setting a record single-day high. Demand for charging during the holidays has been further concentrated, and charging facilities in expressway service areas are generally running smoothly, effectively providing supplementary support for long-distance travel of new energy vehicles. In the next step, the National Energy Administration, together with relevant parties, will continue to strengthen the monitoring and scheduling of highway charging facilities to continuously guarantee the charging needs of new energy vehicles during the “Eleventh” holiday.
