Kelington bags RM172mil S’wak contract

PETALING JAYA: Kelington Group Bhd has secured a RM172mil contract for engineering and early-stage infrastructure development works for an advanced data storage manufacturing facility in Kuching, Sarawak.

The integrated engineering solutions provider said its wholly-owned subsidiary, Kelington Technologies Sdn Bhd or KTSB, secured the contract from a manufacturing company at the Sama Jaya Free Industrial Zone.

The contract covers site development, foundation systems and critical high-voltage power infrastructure.

The works are expected to commence immediately and are scheduled for completion by August 2027.

Chief executive officer Lim Seng Chuan said in a statement that the latest contract expanded Kelington’s involvement in the project.

Moreover, he said it strengthened the company’s track record in supporting large-scale projects in Malaysia.
