The results exceeded Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of six analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for a loss of $5.40 per share.
The ski resort operator posted revenue of $278.1 million in the period, also surpassing Street forecasts. Five analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $270.1 million.
For the year, the company reported profit of $147.5 million, or $4.12 per share. Revenue was reported as $2.84 billion.
