WISeKey's British Virgin Islands Unit Renames to WISeQey Ahead of Merger

09:51 AM EDT, 09/25/2026 (MT Newswires) -- WISeKey International Holding's (WIHN.SW) British Virgin Islands subsidiary WISeKey International Corp. changed its name to WISeQey Corp. ahead of a planned cross-border merger between the two that will see the unit emerge as the surviving entity. Upon completion of the merger, WISeQey expects to issue a total of 5,180 Class B shares, 4,176,654 ordinary shares, and 1,819,060 Class F shares in exchange for the outstanding WISeKey shares, according to a Friday release. The merger is subject to the fulfillment of the remaining closing conditions. WISeQey's ordinary shares will then trade on Nasdaq and the SIX Swiss Exchange.
