Ventura Offshore Expands Drilling Rig Contract with Searah Companies

11:24 AM EDT, 09/24/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Ventura Offshore (VTURA.OL) amended its existing contract with Searah West Ganal and Searah Ganal Deepwater to include drilling of an additional well, according to a Thursday release. The deepwater drilling contractor's semisubmersible drilling rig, SSV Catarina, will also be used for the JKNE Upside-1 Dir well, in addition to the four optional wells exercised under the agreement. The clients are subsidiaries of Searah Ltd., a joint venture between Eni (ENI.MI) and Petronas.
