Eni Wins Exploration License for Indonesian Offshore Asset

07:53 AM EDT, 09/24/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Italian energy company Eni (ENI.MI) secured an exploration license for the Sapukala offshore block in Indonesia's Kutei Basin, according to a Thursday release. Eni holds a 100% participating interest in the asset, which is adjacent to its existing operated and participated blocks. The company, in partnership with an Indonesian academic institution, completed a joint study on the block, which showed that it is "highly prospective."
