JBB BUILDERS (01903) announced annual results. Shareholders' losses of RM536,000 turned profit and loss year on year

According to the Zhitong Finance App, JBB BUILDERS (01903) announced the annual results for the year ended June 30, 2026. The group obtained profit of RM413 million, a decrease of 3.33% over the previous year; the company owner should have accounted for a loss of RM536,000, which earned a profit of RM1.331,000 in the same period last year; and a loss of RM0.11 per share.

The decrease in revenue for the year ended June 30, 2026 was mainly due to operational challenges caused by the depth of water and extreme space limitations at the construction site, and the suspension of a contract for about 1.5 months due to an investigation by the competent authorities in response to an external incident, which reduced the total amount of gravel transportation generated by the Singapore maritime transport contract, which led to a decrease in overall delivery volume; due to rising fuel prices and fuel supply shortages, the progress of the project slowed down, leading to a decrease in revenue from land reclamation and related engineering and marine transportation businesses; and several contracts were completed. Part of the revenue was contributed for the year ended on the 30th, but this impact was partially offset by an increase in the amount of work completed under building and infrastructure engineering contracts.
