Nord Insuretech to Buy Insurance Distributor Sum-it

12:34 AM EDT, 09/24/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Nord Insuretech Group (NORDIG.ST) signed a nonbinding letter of intent to acquire insurance distributor Sum-it, according to a Wednesday release. The Nordic insurance technology group plans to combine the digital purchasing technology of its Digisure unit with Sum-it's personal customer relationships to create one of the largest distribution partners for Eir Försäkring, an insurance company, in Norway. The combined business is expected to have an insurance portfolio exceeding 200 million Norwegian kroner. The deal is subject to due diligence, the signing of a definitive share purchase agreement and customary closing conditions.
