Ashtead Technology Confirms Receipt of Fourth Indicative Takeover Bid from Ember Infrastructure

11:56 PM EDT, 09/23/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Ashtead Technology (AT.L) on Wednesday confirmed that it received a fourth indicative takeover proposal of 6.15 pounds sterling per share from Ember Infrastructure Management. The London-listed underwater technology company is considering the latest unsolicited and nonbinding proposal with its advisers and has granted the US private equity firm preliminary due diligence information, according to a same-day release. Ashtead's board "unequivocally" rejected Ember's first two offers. Ember has until Oct. 21 to finalize whether it will pursue a formal offer for the company.
