Elon Musk Says 'Great Leader' Xi Jinping Has Done an 'Excellent Job': Crypto Bettors See 100% Chance of Billionaire Showing Up at White House State Dinner

Tesla and SpaceX CEO Elon Musk called Xi Jinping a “great leader” on Wednesday as the Chinese President arrived in the U.S. for a high-stakes summit.

‘Very Capable’ Leader

During an interview with Chinese state ‌network CGTN, Musk said China “prospered immensely” during Xi’s tenure.

“I’ve seen it firsthand,” the world’s richest person said. ” Like you can see the new buildings, the new infrastructure…the increased prosperity of the average Chinese citizen.”

Musk added that Xi has clearly done an “excellent” job and is “very capable.”

Musk Likely Attendee at State Dinner

Musk’s remarks came as Xi arrived in the U.S. to kick off a three-day state visit. President Donald Trump welcomed Xi Jinping with a red carpet and a military flyover at Joint Base Andrews.

The summit will feature bilateral talks, cultural programs and a formal state dinner hosted by Trump in the White House.

Betting crowd on Polygon (CRYPTO: POL)-based Polymarket is certain Musk would attend the state dinner, alongside Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang and Alphabet CEO Sundar Pichai.
