Finnish Regulator Confirms Satisfaction of Loihde-BLC Turva Merger Conditions

11:46 AM EDT, 09/23/2026 (MT Newswires) -- The Finnish Competition and Consumer Authority confirmed that Loihde (LOIHDE.HE) and BLC Turva met the prerequisites attached to its conditional approval for the companies' merger deal, according to a Wednesday release. As disclosed in May, the condition required the Helsinki-listed security and digitalization company and BLC Turva to sell each of their locking businesses in South Carelia and the Central Finland region, respectively, along with Loihde's local locking and security technology business in South Savo. The deal, announced in November 2025, is set to close on Oct. 1, 2026.
