UK Media Regulator Probes Pornhub's Age Verification Process

10:25 AM EDT, 09/23/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Britain's media regulator is investigating whether Pornhub's service provider Aylo has breached its obligations to prevent children from accessing pornographic content. The Office of Communications said Wednesday it will look into how Aylo implemented its age verification process and whether it carried out due diligence beforehand. The probe comes after Pornhub launched a new process that relies on Apple's (APC.F) age checks in May. Ofcom said it will not decide on Apple's implementation of its age verification.
