European Commission OKs Henkel's Proposed Purchase of Stahl Parent

07:33 AM EDT, 09/23/2026 (MT Newswires) -- The European Commission approved Henkel's (HEN.F, HEN3.F) proposed sole control acquisition of the Netherlands-based Stahl Parent from speciality coatings provider Stahl Group, according to a Wednesday release. The commission said the deal, related to the industrial coatings and adhesives supply, is not expected to raise competition concerns due to its limited impact on markets where the companies are active. The German chemicals company announced the 2.1 billion-euro acquisition in February.
