Jianyou Co., Ltd. (603707.SH) subsidiary obtained US FDA approval to increase production site registration for amikacin sulfate injection drugs

(603707.SH) announced that Meitheal Pharmaceuticals Inc., a subsidiary of the company, recently received approval for amikacin sulfate injections (500mg/2mL (250mg/mL) and 1g/4mL (250mg/mL)) issued by the US Food and Drug Administration (“US FDA”) to increase the production site, and approved production at the Nanjing Jianyou Biochemical Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd.

According to reports, the drug is suitable for short-term treatment of serious infections caused by sensitive gram-negative bacteria, such as sepsis, respiratory tract, bone and joint, central nervous system, abdominal cavity, burns, post-operative, and complicated urinary tract infections; it is also effective against some genta/tobu-resistant bacteria and staphylococci. The newly approved products have further enriched the company's international product pipeline and strengthened the company's international market layout. Continued promotion of listing and sales in the US market is expected to have a positive impact on the company's operating performance.
