Resolute Mining Cuts FY Production Guidance for Syama Gold Mine in Mali

05:12 AM EDT, 09/21/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Resolute Mining (RSG.L) reduced its full-year production guidance for the Syama gold mine in southern Mali, noting the "challenging" operating conditions in the country. The UK-listed gold miner said Monday it now expects Syama gold production to be 150,0000 ounces to 160,000 ounces in 2026, with group-wide gold production to be between 205,000 ounces and 225,000 ounces. The company added that Syama has faced operational challenges across mining and processing since the end of the second quarter amid delays in moving critical supplies, consumables and mining equipment. Gold production is expected to come in line with the group's expectations in the fourth quarter if external constraints further ease.
