JD Sports to Enter Mexico via Partnership with Grupo Axo

04:56 AM EDT, 09/21/2026 (MT Newswires) -- JD Sports Fashion (JD.L) entered into a long-term franchise partnership with Grupo Axo, a Mexican multi-brand omni-channel retail distributor, to enter the Mexican market. Under the deal, Axo will operate stores and e-commerce under the British sports retailer's JD brand across Mexico, according to a Monday release. Axo will operate over 140 JD shops in the country from 2027.
