SBB to Divest Properties in Sweden, Finland to PPI for SEK1.3 Billion

04:43 AM EDT, 09/21/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Samhällsbyggnadsbolaget i Norden (SBB-B.ST, SBB-D.ST), or SBB, agreed to sell properties in Sweden and Finland to its associated company PPI Public Property Invest (PUBLI.ST, PUBLI.OL) for 1.35 billion kronor. The deal comprises six properties with a total leasable area of 63,400 square meters, an estimated annual net operating income of 76.1 million kronor and an average remaining lease term of 8.1 years, according to a Monday release. It includes a new elderly care home in Stockholm, a renovated police station in Helsinki, Finland, and projects in Karlskrona, Sweden. The Swedish social infrastructure investor will receive a net consideration of 1.26 billion kronor, comprising 250 million kronor in cash and 1 billion kronor in new PPI shares, boosting its stake in the company to 43% from 41%.
