With the QDII quota being expanded twice this year and the amount approved by securities fund institutions surpassing 100 billion US dollars for the first time, the pace of foreign public funding participation in the cross-border investment market has further accelerated. Since this year, the pace of QDII channel expansion has accelerated markedly. According to data released by the State Administration of Foreign Exchange at the end of March, the total QDII approval quota for the entire market increased by 5.3 billion US dollars compared to the end of 2025, reaching 176.169 billion US dollars. At the end of August, the Foreign Exchange Bureau once again issued a QDII quota of 6.84 billion US dollars, involving 89 institutions. By the end of August, the total amount of QDII approved by 196 institutions in the market had risen to US$183.09 billion.
