Changsha Customs announced that in the first eight months of this year, Hunan exported 219,000 vehicles, an increase of 62.5% over the previous year, reaching a new high; the total export value was 27.96 billion yuan, an increase of 30.7%, accounting for 12.6% of Hunan Province's total export value during the same period. Recently, 235 Geely NEVs were shipped centrally from the Xiangtan Comprehensive Free Trade Zone to Egypt through customs clearance in the distribution reporting mode. Demand in the overseas electric vehicle market is strong, and Hunan's electric vehicle exports have continued to grow. In the first eight months, Hunan exported 92,367 electric vehicles, an increase of 53.4%, accounting for 42.1% of Hunan's total automobile exports during the same period; the export value was 9.75 billion yuan, an increase of 21.4%, accounting for 34.9% of the province's total automobile exports during the same period. Among them, passenger car exports accounted for over 80%, and the export value of pure electric buses was 280 million yuan, an increase of 177.2%.
