Sanofi's Rabies Vaccine VaxRabeo Recommended for EU Approval

07:20 AM EDT, 09/18/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Sanofi's (SAN.PA) rabies vaccine VaxRabeo was recommended for approval by the European Medicines Agency's Committee for Medicinal Products for Human Use, according to a Friday release. The vaccine, manufactured by the French drugmaker's Sanofi Winthrop Industrie, is intended for pre-exposure and post-exposure prophylaxis against rabies. The European Commission is expected to issue its final decision in the near future.
