Medartis Buys Surgical Training, Bioskills Research Facility in US

08:02 AM EDT, 09/17/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Medartis Holding (MED.SW) acquired the M.A.R.C. Institute, a surgical training and bioskills research center in the US, to establish its first permanent training facility outside Europe. The institute in Doral, Florida, has 36 surgical stations and can host up to 140 participants at once, supporting training and research in orthopedics and other medical specialties, according to a Thursday release. The Swiss medical devices manufacturer will retain the center's name and its current leadership.
