The two major chip leaders, Samsung Electronics and SK Hynix, became the core of reducing holdings, accounting for more than 80% of total foreign sales. Among them, foreign investors sold SK Hynix at 5.85 trillion won and Samsung Electronics at 4.39 trillion won. The total net sales of the two semiconductor stocks were 10.24 trillion won, accounting for 86% of total net foreign sales during the same period. Goldman Sachs said on the 14th local time that after discussions with North American investors on the Korean semiconductor industry, the market is optimistic about the memory cycle. Goldman Sachs maintains a “buy” rating for Samsung Electronics and SK Hynix.
