Atlantic Lithium's Takeover by Zhejiang Huayou Cobalt Secures Australian Government Nod

05:08 AM EDT, 09/17/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Atlantic Lithium (ALL.L) said Thursday that Australia's Foreign Investment Review Board cleared its proposed acquisition by China-based Zhejiang Huayou Cobalt. The deal remains subject to other conditions, including shareholders' approval and other regulatory approvals. The Africa-focused lithium explorer and developer expects the all-cash scheme of arrangement valuing the company at $210 million to be implemented in December.
