Atari Converts EUR13 Million of Loans into Equity

04:59 AM EDT, 09/17/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Atari (ALATA.PA) completed the conversion of 12.6 million euros of loans from Irata and certain private financial partners into equity, according to a Thursday release. The video game developer will conduct a capital increase by issuing 489,289 shares, representing 11.5% of its share capital, to convert loans granted by Irata into equity. It partially converted 1.4 million euros of loans from private financial partners into 39,360 shares, representing 0.9% of Atari's share capital. The shares are priced at 24 euros each, with the transactions set to be completed in the coming days. For the remaining loans of 400,000 euros, the company secured new loan agreements with a three-year maturity and a 12% interest rate. Following the capital increase, Irata will hold 48.8% of Atari's share capital and 49.1% of voting rights. The conversion also cuts Irata's outstanding loan claims on Atari to 51 million euros in principal amount.
