Turkey's market regulator has brought criminal charges against dozens of people and issued trading bans accusing them of manipulating share prices. According to regulators, those involved in the case manipulated shares of Katilimevim, Gundogdu Gida, and Destek Finans Faktoring AS, and filed lawsuits and imposed trading bans against some fund managers of Pusula Portfoy and Tera Portfoy. Tera Portfoy Yonetimi and Pusula Portfoy disclosed that some of its funds were unable to pay investors' redemption payments; Atlas Portfoy also announced delays in its Atlas Portfoy money market fund redemption payments.
