Roche's Late-stage Study for Follicular Lymphoma Therapy Meets Primary Endpoint

01:29 AM EDT, 09/17/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Roche (RO.SW) said Thursday that its late-stage study of Lunsumio combination therapy for relapsed or refractory follicular lymphoma met its primary endpoint at an interim analysis. The phase 3 Celestimo study evaluated Lunsumio plus lenalidomide against MabThera/Rituxan plus lenalidomide in patients who have received at least one prior line of treatment. The Lunsumio combination therapy showed statistically significant improvement in progression-free survival. Overall survival data were immature at the time of interim analysis. The safety profile remained in line with the known profiles of the individual study medicines, with no new safety signals identified. The drugmaker plans to submit the data to health authorities and present it at an upcoming medical meeting.
