On September 16, Nokia announced that AI-RAN is advancing at an accelerated pace globally. Many operators in North America, Europe, Asia Pacific, and the Middle East are pushing AI-RAN from early evaluation to laboratory testing and current network testing. Participants include A1 Group, China Telecom, du, e&, Mobily, STC, TPG Telecom, and Saudi Zain. The NTT DOCOMO test project, which was announced earlier, is also progressing. Nokia said that the company has previously launched a commercial AI native RAN platform and conducted evaluations with T-Mobile, SoftBank, and Indosat Ooredoo Hutchison, while expanding the OEM partner lineup and deepening cooperation with Nvidia on the AI-RAN platform and software development tools.
