EU Clears BAG, Remex, Eurovia Industrie's Joint Control of Baureka

06:32 AM EDT, 09/16/2026 (MT Newswires) -- The European Commission cleared building materials company Basalt-Actien-Gesellschaft, mineral waste company Remex, and Eurovia Industrie's joint purchase of Baureka Baustoff-Recycling. The regulator said Wednesday that the transaction, which concerns German waste recovery and recycling, would not raise competition concerns due to the venture's negligible activities in the European Economic Area. Eurovia Industrie is a unit of French concessions and construction company Vinci's (DG.PA) Eurovia Group.
