Magnora Data Center to Buy 50% Stake in Estonian Data Center Project

02:56 AM EDT, 09/16/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Magnora Data Center (MDATA.OL) agreed to acquire a 50% stake in the Risti Kampus data center project in Estonia from integrated energy infrastructure company Sunly. As part of the deal, Magnora's (MGN.OL) 52.7%-owned data center project developer will oversee commercial strategy for the site, according to a Wednesday release. The company also gained the option to increase its ownership of the Risti Kampus to 75%. The site will be connected to a 180-megawatt substation, with a planned expansion to 400 MW, subject to the upgrade of the substation.
