On the 15th local time, Pakistan's Interior Minister Mohesin Naqvi met with visiting Lebanese Interior Minister Hajjar in the capital Islamabad. The two sides focused on discussions on strengthening cooperation in the fields of security, anti-terrorism, anti-drug control, combating illegal immigration, anti-money laundering, and cybercrime, and agreed to strengthen exchanges and cooperation in police academies and personnel training between the two countries. The two sides agreed to jointly combat terrorism and drug trafficking crimes through intelligence sharing, address emerging security challenges, and will push the internal affairs departments of the two countries to sign a memorandum of understanding on cooperation as soon as possible, while appointing contacts to strengthen bilateral coordination.
