04:13 AM EDT, 09/15/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Gresham House Energy Storage Fund's (GRID.L) board on Tuesday responded to activist investor PrimeStone Capital's proposal to sell the company, saying that launching a formal sale process now "would not be in the best interests of shareholders." The battery energy storage systems investor said its strategy is delivering solid net asset value growth and has provided significant share price returns over the last 12 months, while noting potential further NAV increases from upcoming projects and additional revenue streams. In June, PrimeStone, which owns a 7% stake in Gresham, published a public letter calling for a formal sale process for Gresham in September, citing the stock's underperformance despite strong management delivery, a secured pipeline and financing, and institutional partnerships.
