The Zhitong Finance App learned that lithium stocks continued to be under pressure. As of press release, Tianqi Lithium (09696) fell 3.90% to HK$30.54; Ganfeng Lithium (01772) fell 2.58% to HK$33.28.

According to news, on September 15, lithium carbonate futures continued to decline. The main contract fell below the 130,000 yuan/ton mark in the intraday period, hitting a low of 127,100 yuan/ton, breaking a new low since the beginning of February. Based on the closing price of 161,000 yuan/ton on August 31, the main contract has been withdrawn by about 20% since the beginning of this month.

Tonghui Futures pointed out that on the lithium salt side, SMM expanded the weekly inventory caliber from three categories to four categories and traced historical data, causing market fears about hidden inventory; overall, the current round of decline was an emotional resonance caused by data expansion rather than a sudden change in fundamentals, but after the absolute inventory increase, the price focus moved downward. The short-term long and short game around 140,000 yuan was intense. Follow-up attention was paid to the pace of inventory replenishment before the National Day, the pace of supply from African mines to Hong Kong and the progress of the resumption of production on the Jiangxi mining side.
