German Annual Wholesale Prices Up 6.8% in August

02:06 AM EDT, 09/15/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Germany's wholesale selling prices rose 6.8% year over year in August, following a 5.3% increase in July, the country's Federal Statistical Office said Tuesday. On a monthly basis, wholesale prices were 0.9% higher, against the consensus estimate of a 0.1% gain.
