UBS: Hanson Pharmaceuticals (03692) Ris-Rez study results on treating recurrent small cell lung cancer are encouraging, rating “buy”

The Zhitong Finance App learned that UBS released a research report saying that Hanson Pharmaceuticals (03692), a phase III study targeting B7-H3 antibody-conjugated drug (ADC) Ris-Rez, achieved positive results in the treatment of recurrent small cell lung cancer (SCLC), improved survival and tumor control. Coupled with fewer treatment-related adverse events, the efficacy was encouraging compared to the control group. The bank gave Hanson Pharmaceuticals a “buy” rating, with a target price of HK$50.8.

UBS believes that the Chinese new drug marketing application for RIS-REZ to treat SCLC has been accepted by the NMPA and included in priority review. It is expected that the study will support Hanson Pharmaceuticals to promote commercialization in China and strengthen clinical verification of the Hanson ADC platform. However, due to increasingly fierce competition for B7-H3 ADC products, product differentiation is expected to be established.
