The latest policy update from Shield marks a rapid growth in commercial adoption over the last fiscal quarter, following meaningful coverage expansion from Carelon, the largest specialty benefits manager in the U.S. and UnitedHealth Group, the largest insurer in the country, driving total covered lives for Shield to approximately 94 million.

Shield is the leading blood test for CRC screening detection as the first FDA-approved blood test for primary colorectal cancer screening in average-risk adults.
